kingofgamecorner: ([calm] see through you)
[On comes the feed, and it is instant noise, instant lights, and instant headache if the audience doesn't adjust fast. And nope, it's not even involving exploding buildings or some rescue sight. The view's coming from over someone's shoulder, and there's a bit of an ear and unique hair cut hinting the breeder nearby, but most of the screen is filled with a colorful roulette wheel, flashing more colorful overload before finally slowing down-

And drawing a happy cry from the fellow jolting in the camera view!]

Hey, I was right, Senzai! Waiting for the wheel to fill up with balls helped our chances! Sure, the bet wasn't as high, but still-

[He cuts off as he turns and comes eye-to-eye with the gear's lens, blinking in it before the entire scene shifts to a more comfortable distance, and Yuugi gives a "eh-heh!" grin before the screen goes out.

A few seconds later he's on again, this time up against a dark wall with the noise slightly muted, and the view much more steady and including a Togetic hovering to the side.]

Sorry about that- I think Senzai wanted to share what we're up to here. He really likes the games.

[...since he's on the feed anyways...] So... Does anybody have a favorite game, here at the Game Corner?

[Either way, anyone drawn into the Game Corner will find Yuugi playing away- Even if he does eventually abandon his lucky streak at the roulette whee and retuns to Voltorb Flip. But by then there's some very obvious glances coming from the staff that Yuugi is very unaware of.]
kingofgamecorner: ([calm] be safe)
For the actual awakening, see here. )

Last thing I remember here, I was making a message on the network...

Can anyone tell me when that was?
kingofgamecorner: ([awkward] holy what?!)
[The day's been weird, if Yuugi trusts his gear. And he would have rushed to answer or help anyone in reach he could, but. He woke up under a tree, days south of Violet. And given he's never been this far down this route, and avoiding as many wilds as he can? He misjudged how long it would take to reach that Pokémon Center.

Eventually, he plops down on the water bridge halfway down the road, and pulls out his
gear.

Hi- sorry to ask for a favor when a bunch of weird stuff is going on... but I'm stranded on Route 32 without any of my team. I just need to get to a center, so if anyone's, uh, nearby...

[Sorry again, he trailed off, because he heard something in the grass just a few feet away, at the start of the bridge. And - upside down on the screen - out rolls a Mareep, right up to the water edge.

Rolling.]

-Bakuto? Is that you? How'd you get, over....

[Look at that, another couple, smaller Mareeps trotting out, just as overly fluffed up. Is it the offspring he's been raising? N-no, here comes four more, and another four, and eight, and-]

..wha- Bakuto, are these with you?

[Apparently, since she hobbles up and has the biggest struggle of her life, trying to sit on all of them at once. She catches a couple in her fleece, but a good dozen more get by - more pouring out by the second - all crowding onto the bridge, with Bakuto blocking the only other exit. And they're coming right towards Yuugi.]

...hey, can you guys swim? You shouldn't come onto the water...

[No- No they shouldn't. And some are realizing that, and wrestling to get back to firm ground against the traffic. And then struggling mareeps, and anxious lambs, and excess static on the water-

Best turn off the video, viewer. The lights flashing swerving view from Yuugi running will just make you sick.]

kingofgamecorner: ([action] resting)
[The screen shows a very steady, clear feed of Yuugi. He's not saying anything for a moment, having trouble breaking out of the lethargic silence he's stuck in. But in the meantime, please note how he's sitting in a chair, outside, with a brick wall to his back. The why should become clear as he finally starts explaining himself.]

Well, the Mareep eggs Bakuto pushed me to keep hatched early yesterday, so I assume most of the others I sold have, too. I hope all of them are doing okay. So I thought I'd ask about it.

[He pauses, trying to form what else he wants to say. But it falls apart half-formed as something jolts him up in his seat. The view swerves, showing Bakuto flopped on her back in the grass, apparently sunbathing. The culprits of Yuugi's shock though, would be a pair of pint-sized sheep zooming under his feet. The second calls some angry "maaa"s at the one in the lead, making a B-line for "Mama". A third is right on their heels and a fourth trudges along in their trail, until a hand gingerly scoops it off the ground. A second later Yuugi is back in view, the last Mareep lamb sprawled over his legs.

But even with a fuzzball on his lap, Yuugi's not looking happy.]

Ah, sorry... I just, also wondered if anyone had the latest news on Danny Fenton. Is he recovering okay? Or... has someone else been hit by the delivery box trick? I know the attack on the game corner didn't work, but I still want to hear no one else is gon-

[Ah. Please excuse him. He just caught himself and shut off the feed before he could stumble again. Suddenly just focusing on the new babies, seems so much better than broadcasting...]
kingofgamecorner: ([calm] be safe)
Aaaaah, we're back!

[A chorus of sounds echo Yuugi's proclamation, the breeder's usually free roaming team all out at once and ready to agree with the sentiment. Well- Not all. The Gastly looming above and Mareep oddly facing the way they'd come were not familiar with the city ahead, and the Lucario at Yuugi's elbow was silent as usual. But the remaining three were happy enough to cheer. After all, a good trip or not, they were glad to be back.

And Yuugi was especially glad, since the threats by that man over the 'gear made him worry what he'd come back to. Thinking of it, he bypassed asking Bakura what he wanted to do first, or leading the way to the house himself, he pulls the device right out of his pocket and turns it on now.]

Hello! Not to bother anyone, but. For those who want to know, Bakuran-kun and I are back in Goldenrod! It took a little longer to come back than I expected, but it was worth it.

[Speaking of it, he grins at the Lucario at his side, and then up in the air, giving a view of a winged white Pokémon.

It looks like Senzai evolved!]

So, if anyone's in town and looking for us, or wanted a battle or something, you can find, me...

[He just turned around to show off the new arrivals and realized, the distracted Mareep has, disappeared. And the Gastly letting out one loud cackle probably isn't helping the moment any.]

-Isami!

[So sorry, viewers. Nothing but the inside of a pocket now. This fellow's on a sheep hunt in the city!]
kingofgamecorner: ([alarm] are you okay?!)
[The 'gear fizzles with noise until Yuugi's face appears in front of some grass, focused in thought. Until he realizes it worked, and he breaks out a grin.]

Hello! I hope I have this right... Anyways, I'm namely trying to call my friend Bakura-kun, but if anyone else wants to know...

I just hatched a Pawniard an hour ago. And I'd show him, but. I sent him to the Center with my Happiny soon after. It's a pretty high level out here for a newborn... But, an hour ago, I finally found one!

[He turns his gear around, and behold, a fluffy ball, rolling in the grass. But at the breeder's laugh, it stops and reveals itself to have a blue face and legs.]

Ah-ha, I wonder if all Mareeps do that... Anyways, catching one was my main goal coming down here, so now I better ask Bakura-kun what he wants to do. I would have actually called even sooner, but a Hoppip attacked right after, and Shin had to fight it off-

[A sudden flash to the side, and the screen wobbles. A second for Yuugi to gasp, and everything goes dark.]

Private for Bakura )
kingofgamecorner: ([calm] what are you talking about?)
Action! )

Hello- I don't know if it's worth mentioning, but. I don't know what's common and what's not here, yet, in terms of talking over this. So, here we go.

I was given some eggs, from the Breeding Centre, in Goldenrod! And they've all hatched over the last week! Isami, Junko- I mean, a Growlithe, Buneary, and Riolu. And in the meantime, I caught Momo, during the flight to the city, and then I found this egg, on Valentine's. I think a lot of others did too, but.

[Here, have a view of a starry coverlet, with a Buneary and Timburr being adorable together, the bunny hovering but not wanting to touch, while the little pointy-head gray fellow tries not to hit her with that wood block, apparently far too heavy for him.]

This little guy hatched a couple hours ago. -I'm calling him Harudei, but I can't tell if he likes it or not.

And now I have six, four in the last few days, and. I was wondering. Does anyone have advice for how to give so many enough attention? Or what to do for these specific types? I don't want to neglect any of them, especially since I have a- Ah-

[The 'Gear swerves and gives a view of the ceiling just shortly after the Timburr near fell over from the weight of that block. There's a peripheral view of Yuugi doing something at the bed, and the Buneary hopping off, before a Growlithe covers the screen, sniffing away.

Enjoy some funky noises.]
